Pretty much as advertised. Keswick via Whinlatter for elevenses at the Kirkstile Inn. Weather hopefully OK for a picnic at Ennerdale Water, but if not we can go to the new cafe at Ennerdale Bridge. After lunch will follow the Ehen (not Eden!) valley to Cleator Moor, then northwards on the Sustrans 71 old railway route (good tarmac - honest!) followed by minor roads to Eaglesfield before turning west via Wythop Mill to Bassenthwaite. About 60 miles.
