This is a moderately paced ride of about 50 miles, starting in Appleby Cloisters at 10am.
The route is to Kirkby Stephen via Gt. Asby, then over the Tommy Road, through to Kelleth and on to Orton for the one lunch stop at mile 28ish. Then over to Shap and up the A6 to the Sleagill turn off. The route does not go to Bampton and never did, (that is my mistake on the runs list!). We return via Maulds Meaburn, up the hill and down the main road into Appleby, where it is hoped some of the Alt ride will join us for tea and cakes at my place.
