Don’t miss the earlier 9.00 am start from Langwathby Village Hall then via the Meaburns to Orton 11s stop for approx. 10.45, after 19 miles. The idea is then to go via Ravenstonedale to Mallerstang to The Moorcock. Either stoke up at Orton Gallery or bring some food for a snack-stop at the Moorcock Inn. (It was closed last time I was there). Back via Garsdale, Sedbergh for a late lunch, and along the side of the Howgills to Tebay and tea at Orton then re-trace to Langwathby. The “Alternative” ride loop, Orton to Orton, is a smidgen over 40 miles. The full ride from Langwathby is just over 80 miles. I have ordered another stunning day weather-wise. See you there!
