Start - Melmerby Village Green at 09:30
11's - Brough via Long Marton, Appleby Burrells and Gt Musgrove ( stage distance 25 miles )
Lunch - Middleton in Teesdale using the B6276 ( stage distance 14 miles )
Tea - Alston using the B6277 ( stage distance 21.5 miles )
Finish - Melmerby ( Stage distance 11.5 miles )
Total distance = 71.5 miles and total ascent = 6200 ft
Since I've not ridden a bike since Tues 25 th Aug and have just returned from a tiring week in the London area, a south coast outing and visit to Dorset as a " tourist ", I may cop out of doing the whole ride and return back to the start from Brough.
If I do this I would appreciate another rider or riders completing the circuit with the rest of the group.
