The ride will officially start from Burneside Church at 0930 and as usual there will be parking for a few cars on our drive. If the parking is busy near the church, there are 2 large lay-bys between Bowston and Plantation Bridge on Winter Lane.
The planned route for tomorrow has approx. 6000 ft of ascent over 66 miles and is therefore a lumpy ride, but with no brutal climbs.
As the forecast is currently predicting rain in the afternoon which will get heavier later in the day, I have a Plan B to shorten the ride if necessary to 50+ miles - still lumpy - but with only one stop - probably in Coniston. This should allow us to get back before the weather gets bad.
There will be tea on offer at Bowston after the ride.
